i read an article the other day that for the life of me i cant find. anyhow it was leanord ellerbe discussing how floyd split from arum. in a nutshell and to the best of my recollection this is what was said. that floyd want to start to advertise in the hip hop/ minority demographic because it was an untapped market as far as ppv sales. arum disagreed believing the mexican audience is the focus. ok they split over money blah blah.. leanord says this was a marketing strategy put in place 5 years ago by floyd to achieve mainstream popularity. so that urban kids would have a fighter to look up to just like other races. he used his flamboyant trash talking ridiculous flaunting of money as a tactic to target a certain audience. now look at him.. he is number 1 and you cant talk about boxing without having a conversation about mayweather. that mayweather is a marketing genius and its not by accident why he is infamous. this is not nutt hugging this is what was said. was this an affective strategy in retrospect? does anyone have a link to that article? has anyone else read that article? what do you think of floyd decision to appoint himself as"our"?

Probably the biggest question I get asked is if social networking is worth it or a big waste of time. Well, if you're doing social networking to make money, and you aren't making money, then it most certainly is a waste of time.

We should prepare an outline of the article, which we want to write about. This will help bringing the concept of the article into sharper focus. This outline includes a heading, introduction, body and the conclusion. Always decide on the content of the article in advance. We should always compile a list of possible sources for us to consult. This can include documents, newspapers and people we talk to.

The introduction part brings out the problem you will be talking in your article or write a short story of your experience with the problem. The body will discuss all the methods of solution to the problem you encountered in the introduction. Break up each point into separate paragraphs and keep them to about 7 lines. You may want to create a sub-title for each point. This makes it easier to read as most readers will scan your article when reading it online. The presentation method which we use should be simple and straight. The article should be written in such a way so that people finds it resourceful and at the same time can gain information from it. The conclusion part always concludes the whole article in few lines, so that even if the reader has no time to read the whole article, it can at least get a idea of it by just reading the conclusion.

Most of the good articles are written in informal style, like we would explain our topic to a friend. Don’t worry too much about correcting mistakes or how it sounds. This may interrupt the flow of ideas you want to write about. You can always correct them later. After completing your article, run it through a spell checker first, then read it through several times to check for spelling mistakes the spell checker may have missed and to correct the grammar and punctuation. Efforts should be spent on ensuring it flows well by clearly identifying the problem, providing a method of solution and concluding with an action step or steps. Get someone else to read it over. Often they will find the mistakes that you missed.
